After clearing standard terms and definitions, the participants will be introduced to the assessment criteria for failure modes and potential problem areas. Afterwards documentation and reporting will be discussed. The course will be completed with different case studies.

During the course participants will gain knowledge about definitions, corrosion and hull strength. They will be introduced to a rating system and reporting. The participants will gain focus to the critical areas of a vessel.
