Maritime Labour Convention, 2006: ILO CERT
To be prepared for the upcoming ILO Maritime Labour Convention, 2006 (MLC 2006), Germanischer Lloyd (GL) provides a range of services covering all aspects of the MLC, 2006. GL's ILO CERT services ensure well preparation for compliance with the MLC, 2006 requirements.
ISPS services
Germanischer Lloyd offers certification according to the ISPS Code, as authorised by a number of flag states. GL assists you in obtaining an International Ship Security Certificate (ISSC) by offering several tools and guidelines for preparing and performing Ship Security Assessments (SSA) and the development and implementation of Ship Security Plans (SSP). In-house and public training seminars for Company Security Officers (CSO) and Ship Security Officers (SSO) are available through our GL academy.
ISM, ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14001:2004 Services
Germanischer Lloyd offers certification according to the ISM Code, ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14001:2004, STCW 95 and special national requirements applicable for the certification process. GL is accredited by TGA to provide ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001:2004 certification in combination with ISM. We offer seminars for the implementation of management systems through our GL academy, e.g. ISM, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 as well as aspects of STCW 95.
STCW services
Germanischer Lloyd provides certification of the Quality Management Systems of Marine Institutes and Administration for STCW 95 compliance.
The certification of the Quality Management Systems brings a clear boost to efficiency by identifying potentials for organisational improvement.
In addition, GL approves training courses and maritime simulators offered and operated by maritime academies and training centres as well as by shipowners. Furthermore, GL provides advisory services on matters related to STCW and operational requirements.
