Asset Performance

Understanding how an asset performs in its environment is key to delivering service to customers in a cost-effective and sustainable manner.

GL Water has developed a number of asset modelling tools for the following asset groups;:

Trunk mains performance and life assessment
Small diameter metallic mains assessment
Demand forecasting and planning services for operational and capital planning

These models are risk based and forward looking and are therefore appropriate for use in developing investment strategies that are compliant with the industry approaches such as the UK’s Capital Maintenance Planning Common Framework (CMPCF) and the International Model for Infrastructure Management.
