SynerGEE Water is a simulation software package used to model and analyze closed conduit networks of pipes, regulators, valves, pumps, reservoirs, tanks, wells and boreholes.

Over 600 utilities and consulting engineering firms worldwide have taken advantage of SynerGEE’s versatile modelling environment and comprehensive analyses. Not only does SynerGEE perform a host of useful analyses, it can do it on extremely large systems of over 100,000 elements comprising all mains and operational equipment.

SynerGEE is highly flexible. It is possible to choose the level of detail from simple hydraulic analysis of a single pressure zone to the twin substance propagation of water quality in a multi-zoned system. Additionally, SynerGEE can model complex control arrangements for pumps, valves and regulators in any operational scenario.

Optional modules are available for more advanced modelling requirements such as area isolation, reliability analysis, subsystem management and calibration (see below for more information).

Robust modules and applications that meet expanding client needs

GL has built a variety of additional SynerGEE modules that have been developed to meet specific customer requirements.

These modules and applications include Customer Management Module to link SynerGEE with existing Customer Information Services, Model Builder which lets you import, filter and query data from multiple external GIS sources and CalPrep that improves the speed and reliability of the way users calibrate water models, calculate leakage and derive un-metered domestic consumption using logger and telemetry data.

Pipe Design Module for SynerGEE Water provides the ability to select the lowest cost design subject to the quality of service constraints.

Area Isolation Module (AIM) provides you with the tools you need to simulate the isolation of user-selected areas of a water network.

Calibration Module provides you with the ability to significantly reduce the time and money it takes to calibrate a model.

Customer Management Module

Customer Management Module (CMM) provides a link between SynerGEE Water and your Customer Information System (CIS).

Model Builder

Model Builder provides a seamless integration between SynerGEE Water and your Geospatial Information System (GIS).

OnLine Module

OnLine Module (OLM) allows you to automatically transfer operational and reference data from your SCADA system into SynerGEE to perform steady-state and time-varying network simulations.

Reliability Analysis Module

Reliability Analysis Module enables you to determine your system's resilience and how it will respond to pipe failure and measure the resulting impact on your system water supply.

Subsystem Management Module

Subsystem Management Module (SMM) includes two powerful capabilities. Users can now extract / merge subsystems both spatially and hydraulically. The module also includes skeletonisation enabling you to develop a simplified or strategic model.

CalPrep (Calibration Preparation)

CalPrep is a valuable calibration tool importing SynerGEE data together with field data and standard demand profiles in order to generate leakage and unmetered domestic curves using the minimum night flow methodology.
